NSW; Soldier still hospitalised after army jeep explosion
SYDNEY, Feb 7 AAP - A soldier who suffered serious hand and leg injuries in an explosionat a NSW Army base remains in hospital today.
Five soldiers were hurt when weaponry or ammunition exploded in their jeep as theydrove through the Singleton Army Range, in the Hunter Valley, about 1.30pm (AEDT) yesterday.
Three of the injured soldiers were airlifted to Newcastle's John Hunter Hospital inserious conditions.
However, two of the men - aged 31 and 20 - were released last night, a hospital spokeswoman said.
