Fed: Key public servant to face committee today
A public servant at the centre of the children overboard affair will front a Senatecommittee today.
JANE HALTON, who told an inter-departmental committee that asylum seekers had thrownchildren overboard, is now the head of the Health Department.
She is due to front a Senate estimates committee in her new capacity, and it is unclearwhether she will be forced to give evidence relating to the children overboard claimsthat were discovered to be false.
